eco- and hair friendly hair products

my hair being naturally curly comes with the pain of controlling frizz. i recently swapped my pantene/ garnier fruictis shampoo for the whole foods brand 365 (in pink grapefruit). it smells heavenly, like i’m in the tropics, while i lather up and after it dries. the quality of my hair has significantly changed since i’ve made this switch! it is now soft and light and just as smooth as can be. even with the hair spray and curling i’ve made it endure while performing in evita! usually during shows my hair becomes very easy to break and after nite upon nite holding it in the hot hot curling iron split ends begin to show. i can’t help but attribute this new health my hair has found to the new shampoo. i highly recommend this shampoo for a cheaper natural shampoo choice.

end notes:
if you wanna be totally natural with your hair gel i found a website that suggested using aloe vera gel. i’m sure you’ve also heard of using avocado to heal damaged hair. burt’s bees offers this in their hair care line, or you can whip it up yourself.
also, i plan on doing a vinegar rise (even though i loathe the smell) once the show closes in order to rid my hair of all the eww chemicals.
