GOING FOR THE GREEN!

i, like half of the planet, have been watching the Olympics. its probably a good thing that they are 12 hours ahead of us in bejing, considering i’d be glued to the tv even more than i already am (i’m even watching it while writing that post).

i couldn’t help but think about the eco-impact that the games are having. i mean, all the buses and flights and other transportation involved, the lighting, and don’t forget the building of a

completely NEW facility just for the games. doesn’t seem very eco-friendly to me. not to mention beijing’s poor air quality for the olympians…
