I have a female friend that is always influenced by others and the woman is 48. 1 of her friends will she you need to get this or that and she runs out and gets it only to hate most of the things she buys and half of it she can't take back. Someone told her how nice these cowboy boots looked and what does she do? go out and buy $250 pair of hand made cowboy boots and where we live it's snows at least 3 months out of the year plus I have never seen 1 single person in my city or near by cities with cowboy boots...lol she is going to look so stupid. if someone says go out and get a purple, green, orange and yellow coat with the pants to match she does.Question #3:
Showing A Quarter Horse?? Opinions!? HELP?
Okay I kinda aready asked this question..but it was really long before, and i was upset when I asked it..so I will simplify.lol.:I live in quarter horse country. its all AQHA shows, breeders, judges, even if its an open show...they should basically just say its for quarter horses. even in 4h theres $20,000+ quarter horses.
I have an arab. I got him out a field as a 4yr. old after a shoulder injury. He was thought of as being "un-ridable" two years ago...but I worked and worked with him. Ive been through bucking fits, rears, taking off, kicking...basically everything a horse could do.lol. He still acts up...but i feel like ive accomplished alot with him, and it was a really good experience for me working with a horse from the ground up. Well even though hes still green, he does awesome pleasure n pattern classes. Anyways I NEVER get looked at because of this at shows. Ive had judges say mean comments to me, and tell me to take my "alpo horse" out of here. We can do a pattern, and then another kid does a pattern on a QH and butchers it...and gets placed over me.
Sooo...heres my issue. Normally I wouldnt allow this to upset me,..it makes me want to show my arab more. BUT I really really want to be a trainer/ ride pleasure. Its my passion, its all I can see doing with my life. I already have a college im seriously considering ( im almost 17 btw) I already work at a 48 horse barn everyday doing everyrthing. Ive worked with stallions, foals, and other green horses. I know I have more experience than half these kids on there dead broke horses. BUT the kids that ride the nice quarter horses are the one that people want to train with. They go to congress and show circiut..and everyone thinks there amazing. I just feel like I will never get where I want to in riding If i cant show/place well in anything higher than 4H or local shows! :( I would love to show in big shows one day. I feel like with my riding skills I want to take it to the next level...its not gonna happen with my horse though.
So what should I do? A quarter horse is the only way Im going to be able to get my name out there. but is it worth going with the crowd to win? Its not all about winning...but in reality I feel like I need the experience and credit of showing in big shows to get where I want too. I dont want to sell my arab though. He means the world to me and ive put sooooo much time into him. He does have some shoulder issues though (already at 6) and im thinking if those continue this year, I may be able to take him to a cheap barn my freinds have and get a young QH i could train.
IDK im soo confussed about all of this. Its just know one take me seriously on my arab, but Im very serious about it and know I have the riding skills.EX- My friends QH was acting up at a big open show..and she asked if I could get on it and take it into horsemanship...I did and got 1st out of 25 people. The next horsemanship class it was 5 people..I took my arab...he did the pattern perfectly..i got fifth. GAAHH it just frustrates me. I want my name out there like other kids my age..people already knwo who they r and want to train with them eventually....but know one respects me on my arabian. So yea...please do u have any opinions?
arab shows areant and option...theres one entire show the whole year in my state, and he isnt really nice enough to go to any big shows.
yea i cant do arab circuit...no shows where i live...n hes just not good enough confirmation wise
oops forgot to add- I Have a very good big time trainer. She takes me to all the shows...but im her only student with an off breed :p and im not bashing qh or people who ride them..i was saying about the kids who get handed already dead broke %100 trained horses

When will my Hostas start to regrow?
My husband and I bought our house last September, I didn't have much time to familiarize myself with the plants in the beds before they started to die off. There is spider grass everywhere and I have a bunch of Iris coming up in places. The particular bed I am trying to work on has a little bit of regrowth going on, I went back and looked at a photo and to my surprise, realized and remembered there may be Hostas down, before I add anymore bulbs, when can I expect them to return? I live in central North Carolina and they are the brighter green breed.Thank you, we have had the rainiest fall/winter EVER. It has been nothing but nonstop rain and snow, not normal for here. I figured as soon as the weather started to warm up I would start seeing plants and I am seeing green already. I am also trying to identify another plant in the bed. I was wanting to plant rosebud Calladiums but there won't be room for them in that bed. I am trying to figure out what I can plant there now. I have a photo if anyone would like to look and help.

Do Hostas tend to spread from year to year? By spread I mean multiply new stems and plants. I am not familiar with ground cover plants.
angielovesjason, maybe you could give me some advice on my beds. I have a lot of beds from small to medium/large and I am having trouble deciding what to do about them as spring approaches. There's a lot of perrenials and in some of them not a lot of color or they are lacking a direction.

I'm getting ready to go "Green to Gold," and need advice picking a new MOS. I'm currently an 11B and though I've loved living the infantry life but my body is starting to hurt and I've spent too much time away from the family, I need to start thinking about a different job. I want to pick an MOS that keeps me with the family more often than not, will be around (I don't want to be forced retired due to downsizing) and promotes pretty fast. Thanks for the help.I know that grades will effect what I get as well as what the Army needs. I plan on staying in for twenty five mores years so I can retire with my 75% retirement pay and so I will be a high enough rank that I won't have to work after my time in the military.

Diet for a young teen!?
Well I'm a young teen, which obviously means I still live with my parents! I think I am overweight, my friends always say I'm not, but I dont know if their just being nice or if they mean it. I've been trying to do as much sport as possible, I went on the wii fit for 22 minutes yesterday and burned 1lb. Ive been trying to cut down on luxurys aswell, for example, have a look at what I ate today and tell me if its ok or not. Breakfast: 1 weatabixx with green milk(i dont know what fat % it is sorry). Lunch : Brown bread sandwich with butter and ham, 4 baby tomatoes, and a small sized carrot. Dinner: 4 Frankfurter sausages, some boiled potatoes(not alot). Dessert: Tea with milk and a few pieces of chocolate with raisins in it. Im not sure if its healthy or not? I havent been on the wii fit today, but yesterday i burned 96 calories, im going to go on it tonight in the evening before I have my shower. Can a Native American Indian go to the US despite a criminal record?
He is a Canadian citizen, but also Native American Indian. This means that as per the Jay Treaty he can cross into the US freely and even live and work there and get a green card. However, if he has a criminal record in Canada, does this somehow allow the US to bar him from entering? Chinese Crested In Canada?
I am a dog groomer, and already own a little 8 month 3.5 pound shih-tzu. I fell in love with the Chinese Crested breed when my friend brought hers to the grooming shop where I went to school. Ive been doing my research on them and know what it takes to take care of them. I was just wondering where i would get a puppy I live in Saskatchewan Canada, i wouldnt be looking at getting one till May or June, once i get settled into my new apartment (which is dog friendly and has a huge green grass area just across the Alley way, and also have a grass potty for my little shih for the winters) Ive looked at shelters and they never have them because they are not common around my area. It would be a Pet not a show dog. Just wondering about any good breeders that are close or would be willing to 'ship' the puppy.Ive contacted a couple of breeders on the CKC website, and they said they would sell the puppy to be for a pet price not show.

didnt get to many responds so im re-posting it...yes i know its long but it wont take too long to read!! and i got this in my last question so I will say it now: I want to be a trainer. Im not looking for one. I want to show in big shows, its my dream and i know i can compete . And I dont want to switch to endurance becasue I have an arab...I do w&e pleasure n equitations, showmanship.Okay so I need to explain a little first..so i apoligize if its long:
I have been riding for years now and I would consider myself to be an intermdiate or advanced intermediate. I work at a 48 horse barn everyday of the week, work with green horses, stallions, and do all barn work. Well where I live it is quarter horse country. I mean its everything quarter horses and nothing else. Theres qh shows everywhere and all the big time trainers n judges have them. Anyways spetmeber 08 I had to get a new horse. Well I got a 4 yr. old arab out of a field..never broke or anything. I have gone through hell with him...my trainer admitted hes on of the worst horses she seen....but I was able to get him good enough to show last summer...and i was pretty proud of him!! Unfortantly we only did good in 4h and at fair (which is really big in my county) So im proud of my accomplishments with that because he was thought of as being unridable by alot of people.
So heres my problem: I get sooo seriously discriminated agaisnt becasue hes an arab, and hes still green. I honestly never get looked at, and one judge came up to me after a class and said "I must be joking to try to show an arab in these parts" That made me want to show him more! lol...but in reality we get better but get looked at less. I 100% want to be a horse trainer/barn manager. Im 16 almost 17 and already have a college im seriously considering. I just feel like im NEVER taken seriously riding my horse. People dont seem to understnad that just becasue you dont win every class doesnt mean your not good....but they cant seem to get that. Other kids my age who ride nice QH already have people wanting to train with them when they get out of school...but know one seems to even think of me. I would love to go to congress and show in more circut shows. I cant with my arab...theres litteraly ONE entire arab show in my state for the year.... I just feel like my dreams never gona come true because I will never have the experience of big time shows like other kids get to do. I know I could do it...Half these kids get handed dead broke quarter horses n never have to experience a horse acting up.

my arab is broke though -he knows how to lope/ jog and do a nice english canter. He can pivot, sidepass, back, turn on the haunches. I can trail ride him, take him over tarps, n he has pretty good ground manners. AGAIN im not putting this asking how to work with an arabian....im asking for opinions..becuase im thinking of my future..n horse shows arent just hobbies I do in my free time...i want this to be ym career..n need my name out there.

What causes potted pony tailed palms to get a paler green?
Ours has ben in the living room all winter and since the weather has warmed and sunshine I set it on the patio days and inside nights. The foliage seems to be a paler green now. I have not over watered it and perhaps even under watered this plant. By reading info on these palms it says they can go a year without water so I heeded this warning on the watering situation. yea to the one answer...hes not trained in jumping/cutting. and wouldnt b to good at that. I show E&W pleasure and horsemanship and eq ,showmanship. Even the classes where its judged on YOU they still judge his breed :P Ive had people who have completly butchered there patternes get placed over me.
miss luke- lol..im not looking for someone to be my trainer. I do have one, im looking to be a trainer myself. And I dont want to switch diciplines..i love pleasure n my arab wouldnt b able to do eventing either...he doesnt have the right body/mind for that. The National Motorists Association has been conducting a study across much of the U.S. and found that many places, including some large cities have been making the yellow phase on their traffic signals shorter and shorter in order to raise money through traffic fines. I had thought it was my imagination, but today the NMA has said it really is happening. Besides being a dirty and criminal thing to do, isn't it also dangerous? Unless the green light the other direction is delayed after yellow turns to red, people will be more likely to collide in intersections.I had noticed delayed greens in one county near here at intersections where there were lost of accidents now I have to wonder if it was speed traps causing them.
Apparently cameras at traffic lights cost $100,000 each (looks like another sort of crime there) but one minimum-wage technician with a screwdriver can boost revenue enough to pay for lots of them.

Girl problems????!!!!!!?
So, me and my girlfriend have been together for four years. Everything's been great until recently. I had to move to a different city to work with my friends' band. She plans on moving here soon, but wants to finish school first.Recently I've heard that she's been hanging out with one of my friends a lot. Going out to lunch/dinner, seeing movies, and playing the vidya. I've never really suspected anything, but have been really insecure as of late.Last weekend I decided to come down for a visit and not tell anyone so I could check up on her without her knowing. I found out she was going over to my friend's place and I have a spare key to his apartment so I'd go in and see for myself.The night I got into town I went straight to my friend's building and went up to his door. I heard voices inside but no lights in the living room. I let myself in quietly and saw the glow of the tv on from my friend's room down the hall. I walked over and peeked in to see what was up and saw that they were on the bed playing Capcom vs. SNK 2 on my ps2. Ok i got arrested before i got my green card back in 1989 for a possesion charge but i never had possesion of the drug my attorney at court said if i didn't plea guilty for a simple possession that i can go to prison for a long time i was 19 with no knowledge of the proceedings or the law been living here in the US for 34 years i got my green card 7 months later and renewed it in 2000 with no problems but is up for renew in 2011 can i get my status here in the us denied please helpQuestion #18:
will the frogs come back to my pond?
I am terribly afraid of frogs. I live in the UK- no idea what kind of frogs, just normal browny green little ones! We get millions in our small back garden and i detest it and get scared to go out there. We drained the pond to clean it today and my husband removed 45 pairs (they were doing that mating thing with the arms wrapped round for a few days) and drove a little distance away to a park with ponds in it, and put them all in there! Will they try to come back to my pond? Will they be able to, bearing in mind the busy roads and high walls they would have to get across?I don't want to use frog killers etc, i just want them to live elsewhere. My husband does not want to get rid of the pond though (i do, but thats another story lol) so how can i get rid of the frogs? wouldnt mind them being in the pond, but hate them hopping all over the garden, then the cats drag them in, they scream, i cant get on with stuff- we loose the frog and find it all crispy somewhere wierd days later...they come up near the doors, get trodden on or just freak the merry hell out of me when all i want to do is hang the washing out!!

Question about life, love and the pursuit of happiness!?
OK I need a little of the non face to face variety help so please take a minute out of your day to help a damsel in distress!Background is this: I left school at 15 with not a single qualification, I have drifted from dead end job to dead end job until now at 32 I am a single female, with no qualifications and a C.V. that is not the dream you had for yourself as a child. I went into a very abusive relationship that I stayed in for years and am lucky to have got out alive. Counting my blessings however, I have no children (want them in the future, just very glad that a child was not born into a bad situation) and no convictions of any kind which considering the life I have led at times is a HUGE blessing believe me. I have recently moved to away from the area in London that I have lived all my life to get away from the dead end friends and existence I had there and while frightening to feel on my own it has also given me a lease of life and a taste for more from my life.
With lots of time on my hands to think about what I want out of life, I realized that I have neglected a childhood dream to move to America (hopefully New York) I was actually lucky enough to visit there a while ago for a weekend and I loved every second of it (I realize that this is not the same as living there) Initial inquiries have led me to discover that I am ineligible for the green card lottery as I am British as are my family.
Am I wrong to still pursue this now? I wish I had made this decision to go for it at 15 and maybe changed the course of my life but I didnt and all I can do now is count my blessings that I have come out of a bad situation clean and healthy and with a lot to live for, but I feel a little daft for pursuing this now but also am thinking if I dont, then I am denying myself the chance of the life I actually want. I know I have a brain in my head, and would be willing to get qualifications in any area that would be needed if say for example there is a shortage of certain jobs in the US, so any advice there would help but I suppose my main question is it madness to still go after my dream at the grand old age of 32??

What IRS forms should I file? US Permanent Resident married to US citizen, living abroad?
Hi,I'm a little confused about my US federal tax situation this year.
Here's some background information, hoping that's enough.
I'm a US green card holder and my wife is a US citizen. I left the US in June 2009 to a foreign country, to work for a foreign company. The US has a tax treaty with said foreign country.
I understand that I have to file a tax return and declare my foreign earned income along with my US-earned income. However I'm confused as to how to do that.
I've figured out that there are tax exclusions for people living abroad like us: foreign earned income exclusion, housing exclusion, housing deduction; we qualify for none of them because we haven't been outside of the US long enough. We are also planning on coming back to the US permanently in the next few months.
I've also figured out that forms 2555 and 2555EZ are used to report foreign income. I have dismissed 2555EZ because I do not qualify for any of the aforementioned deductions or exclusions.
That leaves me with form 2555, but it also doesn't make it very clear if I should use it even though I do not qualify for the aforementioned deductions. If you would care to look at form 2555 at Click Here I can point out what I'm confused about.
Part I: everything is clear except the mention in bold at the bottom. ("Next, complete either Part II or Part III...")
Part II: I do not qualify under the Bona Fide Residence Test, so I shouldn't fill this out.
Part III: I do not qualify under the Physical Presence Test, so I shouldn't fill this out either.
... but Part I says I should fill out either II or III. What if I can fill neither?
Part IV: everything is clear here
Part V: easy enough. I'm answering No to the question, so I should skip part VI and go to part VII
Part VII: implies I am claiming an exclusion I cannot claim.
So... should I fill out form 2555 at all?
If yes, what parts should I fill out and what parts should I leave blank?
If not, how can I declare my foreign earned income?
And if I do fill it out, how do I figure out what I owe the IRS?
I hope somebody can help before my head explodes.
